Andean Lake Crossing: Puerto Varas to Peulla. After breakfast, the Andean Lakes Crossing adventure begins. This iconic journey between Puerto Varas and Bariloche connects two magical cities and unveils some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Andes. Along the southern shore of Lake Llanquihue, you’ll pass through picturesque countryside shaped by German settlers, with fertile farmland and sweeping views of Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes.
Entering Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, we stop to admire the world-famous Petrohue Falls, where emerald waters tumble over ancient lava rock in dramatic cascades. From there, we continue to the shores of Todos los Santos Lake, often called the “Emerald Lake” for its vivid color. A scenic boat ride across its pristine waters, surrounded by towering volcanoes and untouched forest, leads us to Peulla.
This small ecological village, tucked deep within the Andes, is a haven of peace and natural beauty, where native rainforest, crisp mountain air, and the warmth of the local people make for an unforgettable stop.
