KARANKI, ECUADOR
In Karanki: Community Karanki Magdalena is an agricultural and livestock community located about 3,100 meters high in the foothills west of Imbabura volcano, 20 minutes from the city of Ibarra, in the Community of the Magdalena, and 3 hours from Mariscal Sucre airport in Quito. Guests participate in recreational and cultural activities with the community learning about their daily activities such as milking cows, grazing and plowing, planting, crafts, horseback riding and cycling in the heart of the Andes near the famous Karanki MagdalenaOtavalo market. Accommodations include single, double triple or quadruple rooms including free breakfast, private bathroom, hot water 24 hours, free Wi-Fi, heating, large outdoor areas and free parking.
