QUITO, ECUADOR
In Quito: La Casona de la Ronda Boutique Hotel is an 18th century (1738) Colonial mansion, which was reborn into a 22 room Heritage Boutique Hotel. This Colonial Mansion, Spanish style, was once occupied by a wealthy but spiritual Spanish gentleman who used to greet travelers at his home. Now it is open for the pleasure of travelers who admire history and want to have an authentic experience in Quito’s old town. The hotel is situated on La Ronda, a traditional street associated with the bohemian art from the old Quito, and is synonymous with food, crafts and fun. The activities, mainly in the evening, on this oldest street in Quito, vary from pioneering musicians to painters, and poets, several of whom are renowned.
La Casona de la Ronda Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, plasma TV, and complimentary American-style buffet Breakfast. The rooms are decorated with stylish wooden furnishing and parquet floors, they are bright and cheerful, and some have seating areas and enjoy city views.
