This short vacation package by itself or in combination with another one or more short, designed to mix and match itineraries, will allow you to experience the best of Costa Rica your way, your pace, your budget.
Each one of our Mix & Match vacation packages feature: English speaking guides for all tours, transfers, sightseeing and excursions with entrance fees as listed in the itineraries, tour meals as indicated, hotel accommodations at listed hotels with taxes and daily breakfast.
DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY, FEATURES, AND PRICES
Day 1 | Arrive Arenal via share-a-ride van from San Jose, Monteverde, Tortuguero, Manuel Antonio Beach, or the Guanacaste Coast. Check in at the hotel of your choice (*) for a three-night stay in a volcano view room with breakfast and taxes included. The remainder of the day is spent viewing the volcano from your own room or enjoying the pool at the hotel.

Day 2 | Sky Park Adventure Center. Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, meet your local host to begin today’s adventure. Zipping along nearly two miles (three kilometers) of cables, you will see the rain forest as well as get a panoramic view of the volcano and lake from a whole new perspective. There are currently ten zip line cables and they range in height from 30 meters to 200 meters and in length from 200 meters to 750 meters. This private reserve is near El Castillo, on the north-facing slopes of the Cordillera de Tilaran offers phenomenal volcano views, to be enjoyed from an aerial Sky Tram that rises 236 meters in a 1250 meters ride, taking visitors up to a Mirador (lookout point) where starts the Sky Trek zip line circuit. Before leaving the main building to start your tour, you will be fitted with all of the necessary safety equipment (harness, helmet, gloves), which the guides will take care to properly adjust. Afterwards the guides will deliver a safety speech detailing proper form and the innovative braking system. You will also enjoy a nature walk on the Hanging Bridges. After the adventure, you will enjoy a home-cooked Costa Rican lunch. Return to your hotel after lunch. Afternoon at leisure | B.L.
Day 3 | Morning at leisure / Afternoon visit to the EcoTermales Hot Springs
Spend the morning and early afternoon at leisure for independent activities or optional adventures. The rest of the day is spent relaxing at the Eco Termales Hot Springs and Thermal Pools heated right from the Arenal Volcano. Enjoy swimming and a Home-made Costa Rican dinner before you are transferred back to the hotel | B.D.
Day 4 | Continue to your next destination
At the designated time, board your share-a-van for your transfer to San Jose, or to your next Mix & Match Eco Safari either in Manuel Antonio Beach, Monteverde, or the Guanacaste Coast | B.
