In Coban: la Posada Coban Hotel. La Posada, one of the most representative buildings dating from the XVI century, located in the center of the city of Coban was declared a National Monument. According to its history this house was used to give shelter to personalities from distant places when transportation was on horseback or on foot, the house has always had several pieces or units where they greeted the people and horses, also had a chapel where the father or village priest officiated a religious service once a week, giving the blessing to visitors.
