In the Amazons: Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge: The Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge is in the middle of the jungle that surrounds 27 comfortable, thatched wood built bungalows. Each bungalow has a private bathroom with hot water and a large terrace with hammocks where you can enjoy the excellent view of Madre de Dios River. Your privacy is guaranteed as every bungalow is sufficiently separated from the others and has its own safe. A walk in the gardens is an opportunity to learn about native trees and tropical flowers that feed the parrots and macaws, as well as small monkeys at dusk. Enjoy a tropical drink at the pool terrace bar where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. The main dining room has a beautiful view of the pier and Madre de Dios River.
