Aguas Calientes, Peru: Machu Picchu Guided Visit. Your journey to Machu Picchu begins in Aguas Calientes, where a mini-bus takes you up lush slopes to the Sacred Citadel of the Incas. Once a royal retreat for Inca Pachacutec, Machu Picchu, meaning “Old Mountain,” was a site of worship and reverence. It is now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Marvel at how the granite structures blend seamlessly with the Andean landscape, showcasing the brilliance of Inca engineering. Explore landmarks such as the Royal Mausoleum, the path to the Inca Bridge, and Intihuatana, a ritual stone linked to the sun. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Urubamba River and Mount Salkantay.

Cusco, Peru: Chinchero, Yucay Living Museum, and Ollantaytambo Fortress w/Lunch. After breakfast at the hotel, get ready to meet your guide at the lobby of the hotel for a guided exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
During the first stop, you will enjoy a visit to the quaint Village of Chinchero, a traditional Inca urban center situated on a beautiful plateau with extraordinary vistas of the valley and the Andean mountains. The inhabitants of this area proudly preserve the artisan traditions and the inherited knowledge of the Incas and display them in their clothes and customs. In Chinchero, you will witness an encounter of two cultures, as you walk around archaeological remains and a beautiful seventeenth-century church.
Your journey continues in Ollantaytambo, an authentic Inca town, inhabited uninterruptedly since legendary Inca times, and home to the iconic Ollantaytambo Inca Fortress.
At lunchtime, enjoy an authentic Andean culinary experience at a local Restaurant. After lunch, a visit to the Living Museum of Yucay and Andean Interpretation Center is included. Here, you will observe the elaboration of textile work, adobe, pottery, and silverware, all carried out in the same traditional way of ancient Incas. An added feature are the permanent residents of the museum, llamas, alpacas, and sheep.
After your exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Cusco, Peru: Cusco City Tour and Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park. At the designated time, get ready for a half-day of exploration in the city of Cusco and the archaeological remains in the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park where you will visit the fortress with the same name; a beautiful place that radiates peace and quiet while admire the huge rocks measuring up to 4 meters high that were used in its construction.
We will then head for Q’enqo, the ancient temple of the Puma, where we will be able to appreciate the sacrifices altar in the inner part of an enormous carved rock. From there, we will continue to Tambomachay; the sacred fountains of life and health. On the way back to Cusco, we will have a panoramic view from Puca Pucara; a watchtower that controlled the entrance to the city.
In Cusco, you will visit Korikancha, the Temple of the Sun, on top of which the Saint Dominique Convent was built. The history tells that this temple was entirely lined in gold sheets when the Spanish conquistadors arrived. At the end of our tour, we will go to the Main Square and will visit the Cusco Cathedral where invaluable colonial paintings and other works of art, such as the Cross that arrived with the first conquistadors, can be admired.

In Lima: Britania Miraflores Hotel is located in the heart of the Miraflores District. A short walk will takes you from Lima’s old town to the Larcomar shopping center and many attractions in between. Immerse yourself in the local culture and history at Kennedy Park, where traditional activities and daily craft fairs are held. In Lima, Peru: Lima City Tour & Larco Museum. At the designated time, meet your guide for a private tour of modern and colonial Lima. Begin at Larcomar, an upscale shopping center overlooking the Pacific Ocean, then visit the pre-Inca Pucllana Temple in Miraflores. Continue to El Olivar Park in San Isidro, a historic olive grove now part of the city, before heading to Lima’s UNESCO-listed historic downtown.
Explore the Main Square, surrounded by iconic colonial buildings such as the Presidential Palace, Lima Municipality, and the Archbishop’s Palace. Your journey continues with a visit to the renowned Larco Museum, housed in a colonial mansion built atop a 7th-century pyramid.
The museum showcases an extensive collection of pre-Columbian gold, silver, and ceramics. Highlights include the Permanent Exhibition, which offers insight into ancient Andean cultures; the Storage Rooms, home to 30,000 catalogued pottery artifacts; and the Erotic Gallery, featuring a unique perspective on ancient Peruvian sexuality. Conclude your cultural experience with lunch at the Cafe del Museo before returning to your hotel.
