Arenal, Costa Rica: Arenal Volcano National Park Horseback Riding. At the scheduled time, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for a short transfer to the starting point of your horseback riding adventure to the base of Arenal Volcano. This experience combines horseback riding with exploration through primary and secondary forests and open cattle lands, all surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Your guide will provide instructions on how to handle the horses and share interesting information about the formation and eruptions of the volcano. As you ride along the Arenal River and through the rainforest, keep an eye out for a variety of wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, turkeys, hawks, falcons, hummingbirds, and sloths.
The trail leads to an observation point offering one of the closest and most impressive views of Arenal Volcano. During the ride, you will also see a rich diversity of tropical plants, animals, unique lava rock formations, and the scenic Arenal Lake.
After completing the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel with memories of an unforgettable nature experience.
