Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica: Manuel Antonio National Park Nature Walk. While in Manuel Antonio, you don’t want to miss out on a visit to the number one treasure of Costa Rica, the Manuel Antonio National Park.Â
After an early breakfast at the hotel, please proceed to the lobby of the hotel  and get ready to enjoy a slow-paced with a certified guide, trained in identifying and exploring this fantastic bio- diversity consisting of a lush tropical forest that has been preserved for decades. Explore the secluded beaches of the park and the exceptional variety of flora and fauna. There’s an abundance of wildlife you want to observe and learn about in its natural habitat.
Admire the Sloths and numerous species of monkeys traveling through the treetops. There are anteaters and iguanas resting in the tropical jungle and the songs of the various birds will make for an unforgettable experience. Stay attentive and hopefully you will be able to find one of the remaining squirrel monkies – only 1000 of their kind are still living worldwide. This endangered species’ lives in only one place in the world: in the biological corridor of the Manuel Antonio National Park.Â
This guided nature walk takes around 2.5 hours and you will be astonished about the many different types of flora and fauna you will learn about and observe. To round up the tour you will be able to dip your feet into the crystal clear water of the beaches accessible only inside the park.
Important Notes: Passport information is required to purchase the admission tickets. The guided visit lasts approximately two hours. You may want to stay in the park to continue exploring at your own pace and enjoy unspoiled, un-crowded, pristine beaches. If you opt to stay in the park on your own, you will provide your own transportation back to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.
