Mendoza, Argentina: Mendoza City Tour. This tour is designed for visitors to the province who want to experience a modern city highlighted by its towering trees, clean streets, and impressive public spaces.
The journey begins in Mendoza’s Foundational Area, the heart of the historic Old City. From there, we move on to the New City, where we will visit various plazas and the Civic Centre. Here, you will find the Los Andes Army Flag, a powerful symbol of the Liberation Campaign and the first independent flag of South America.
Next, we head to General San Martin Park, often referred to as the “lungs of the city.” The park spans 307 cultivated hectares, includes 17 kilometers of pathways, and has an additional 82 hectares for future expansion. Within the park, you will see beautifully crafted fountains of various shapes and sizes, all surrounded by lush, vibrant vegetation.
We will conclude the tour at Cerro de la Gloria, home to the monumental tribute to the Army of the Andes, a powerful homage to their victorious campaign for independence.
