The lagoon is a natural sinkhole in the salt flat and a perfect place to spot pink flamingos and tagua ducks. Its high salt concentration allows swimmers to float effortlessly, much like in the Dead Sea, while the vast landscape of the salt flat and the Andes Mountains creates an unforgettable setting.

Continue south to visit Ojos del Salar, two small lakes with lower salinity, where visitors can rinse off the salt from their swim.
