We toured the Doka coffee plantation and La Paz Waterfall gardens with Homer, and we were treated to way more than we could have imagined. Great knowledge of local flora, fauna, history, and a wonderful person overall. A wonderful day in the cloud forest!

Your EcoAmerica Tours representative will greet you at San Jose International Airport, assist with your luggage, and provide a private van transfer to the Cariari DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel for a two-night stay with breakfast and taxes included. Check-in is available after 2:00 PM. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities.
Today, you have the opportunity to select from two exciting rafting adventures, each offering its own unique thrills and experiences on the river:
Important Note: If traveling with children, the Pacuare River will be substituted by the Sarapiqui River Class II-III.
After an early breakfast at your San Jose hotel, meet your private driver for a scenic journey to the Arenal Volcano area, where you will enjoy a two-night stay in a superior volcano-view room at the Magic Mountain Hotel. Upon arrival and check-in, head to Sky Park Adventure Center for the Sky Tram and Sky Trek, where you will glide above the rainforest canopy and soar through the treetops on an exhilarating zipline adventure, all while taking in sweeping views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. After the experience, return to your hotel to relax and unwind.
Enjoy The Ultimate Canyoning and Water Rappelling Adventure with Lunch, an exciting yet accessible experience featuring guided descents through a lush canyon and cascading waterfalls, ideal for families and first-time adventurers. In the early evening, unwind at EcoTermales Hot Springs, where you will relax in natural thermal pools and enjoy a traditional Costa Rican dinner before returning to your hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, meet your local driver for a shared transfer to the Mid-Pacific coastal village of Quepos, home to the beautiful Manuel Antonio Beach Park for a three-night stay in Studio Plus room at the Costa Verde Hotel. Balance of the day is spent at leisure enjoying the pool or the beach.
Experience the Manuel Antonio ATV Countryside Adventure with Lunch, driving your own ATV through rugged mountains, tropical landscapes, cattle farms, and traditional Costa Rican villages. Midway, enjoy a short hike through the primary rainforest to discover exotic wildlife. Return to your hotel after lunch. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the beach or relaxing at your resort.
Important Notes: If traveling with children, the ATV will be a double seat. Minimum ages: For Drivers 16 years, for passengers 6 years)
On this day, you will enjoy one adventure of your choice: Coastal Kayaking & Snorkel with Lunch along the Manuel Antonio coastline or Damas Island Mangrove Kayaking with Lunch. Both offer a relaxed paddling experience surrounded by stunning scenery and abundant wildlife, ideal for couples, families, and small groups.
Important Note: If traveling with children, the kayak will be a double open seat.
At the appropriate time, departure transfer from Manuel Antonio to the Quepos airstrip for a 30-minute panoramic flight (airfare included- 30 Lbs. luggage allowance) to the San Jose International Airport to connect with your onward flight.
Important Note: If your flight out of San Jose is in the early morning, it may be necessary to spend an extra night at a hotel near the San Jose airport; an extra charge will apply.
