A Scenic Andean Journey from Chile to Argentina Through Lakes, Volcanoes, and Alpine Villages.
Travelers joining our seven day Puerto Varas to Bariloche Lake Crossing vacation package will enjoy a once in a lifetime cultural and natural adventure. The journey begins with a stay in Puerto Varas, featuring day excursions to nearby Chiloe Island, Llanquihue, and Frutillar. It continues with a visit to Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, including the world famous Petrohue River Falls and Todos los Santos Lake. A scenic boat ride through volcano lined waters leads to Peulla, a small ecological village nestled in the heart of the Andes. Read More
The next day, the lake crossing continues with the navigation of Lake Frias and Lake Nahuel Huapi. Along the way to Bariloche, travelers will be treated to breathtaking views of Andean forests and snow capped volcanoes.
Once in San Carlos de Bariloche, you will enjoy a guided excursion showcasing the region’s stunning lakes, mountains, and native forests, an unforgettable finale to this extraordinary journey.
In Puerto Montt / Puerto Varas, Chile
Upon arrival at Puerto Montt Airport, you will be met by your local host for a private transfer to the nearby city of Puerto Varas. Check in at the listed hotel, Cabanas del Lago, for a three-night stay. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city at your own pace.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and a leisurely morning. In the early afternoon, begin your scenic guided excursion exploring Frutillar and Lake Llanquihue.
After breakfast, we will begin our full-day tour to the northern part of Chiloe Island, known for its scenic landscapes and many picturesque wooden churches, several of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
After breakfast, we will begin Andean Lake Crossing: Puerto Varas to Peulla. Upon arrival, check in at Natura Patagonia Hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll begin our early departure for the Andean Lake Crossing: Peulla to Bariloche, Argentina. Upon arrival, check in at the NH Edelweiss Hotel for a two-night stay.
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide at the scheduled time for the Bariloche Short Circuit tour with a visit to Cerro Campanario.
At the appropriate time, you will be transferred from your hotel in Bariloche to the local airport to check in for your onward flight.
