This 12-day vacation package, The Wonders of Peru, is the adventure of a lifetime, taking you through some of the country’s most iconic destinations, including Machu Picchu, the Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, and the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
In Lima
Upon arrival in Lima and after completing the standard immigration, luggage retrieval, and customs procedures, please proceed to the exit of the international terminal. Your driver will be waiting for you showing a sign with your name(s) and provide you with a private transfer to your selected hotel for a two-night stay, including daily breakfast.
Your Choice of Accommodations:
At the designated time, meet your guide for the Lima City Tour & Larco Museum, exploring the city’s modern and colonial highlights. Visit Larcomar overlooking the Pacific, the pre-Inca Pucllana Temple in Miraflores, El Olivar Park in San Isidro, and Lima’s historic downtown, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the Main Square and its iconic colonial landmarks.
Conclude at the Larco Museum, housed in an 18th-century mansion built atop a 7th-century pyramid, showcasing remarkable pre-Columbian art, gold and silver artifacts, open storage galleries, and its renowned Erotic Gallery. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the visit.
At the designated time, please proceed to the hotel lobby to meet your driver for a private transfer to Lima Airport for your departing flight to Arequipa (airfare not included; we recommend booking a flight arriving in Arequipa by 11:00 AM or earlier).
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel for an overnight stay with breakfast included. The morning is at leisure to acclimate to the Andean altitude, followed by an afternoon Arequipa City Tour.

Important Note: Dress code for visiting churches: pants, long shorts, or skirts that cover the knees; otherwise, entry will not be allowed.
Early in the morning, you are picked up from your hotel for the trip to Chivay, traveling through the Aguada Blanca National Reserve in Pampa Cañahuas, where vicuñas roam freely. Stop briefly in Patahuasi to taste local infusions and use restroom facilities, then continue through Viscachani and the Toccra wetlands, home to alpacas, vicuñas, and migratory birds. Arrive at Patapampa, the Andes Viewpoint (4,910 m), for panoramic views of the volcanic range, then descend to Chivay (3,635 m) around midday.
After lunch, return to your hotel. If you are staying in Chivay, you can spend the afternoon relaxing at the La Calera thermal pools for about an hour. The evening is free for you to enjoy dinner on your own.
Your Choice of Accommodations:
After an early breakfast, meet your guide for Colca Canyon and the Majestic Flight of the Condor, starting at the Condor Cross viewpoint to admire the majestic Andean condors and take in breathtaking views of Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. Continue to the traditional towns of Maca and Yanque, known for their colonial churches.
After lunch, enjoy a scenic drive to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca, with brief stops at Patahuasi and the Lagunillas viewpoint to spot migratory birds, including flamingos. Upon arrival in Puno, transfer to your hotel for a two-night stay.
Your Choice of Accommodations:
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the pier to board a boat for Lake Titicaca Exploration by Boat with Lunch, accompanied by your private guide. Begin with the Uros floating islands, built from totora reeds, where friendly locals will welcome you and share the islands’ history and unique construction. Continue to Taquile Island, where traditional weaving by men and knitting by women preserves centuries-old customs. Enjoy a light regional lunch before returning to the mainland and transferring back to your hotel in Puno.
Important Note: This service is semi-private, conducted on a shared boat with other passengers but accompanied by a private guide.
Today, enjoy Andean Crossing to Cusco by Bus with Lunch, a full-day tour with stops at Andahuaylillas Chapel, Raqchi (God Wiracocha Temple), and Pukara Museum.
At Pukara, explore one of the oldest ceremonial sites in the region, featuring platforms, tombstones, and litosculptures of a pre-Inca civilization. At La Raya Pass (4,335 m), admire stunning landscapes and native animals like llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas in a region bridging Quechua and Aymara cultures. At Raqchi, see the monumental Inca temple with massive columns and adjacent storehouses. At Andahuaylillas Chapel, marvel at the gilded, frescoed ceilings of this Andean Sistine Chapel.
The excursion includes photo stops and offers an immersive high-Andean experience. By late afternoon, arrive in Cusco and check in to your hotel for a three-night stay with breakfast included, giving you time to rest and prepare for your upcoming adventures in the heart of the Inca Empire.

Important Note: Due to the shared nature of this service, the pickup window is within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time.
At the designated time, enjoy Cusco City Tour & Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, a half-day exploration of Cusco and its archaeological sites. Begin at Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park to admire the fortress’s massive stones, some over 4 meters high. Continue to Q’enqo, the ancient Puma temple with its sacrificial altar, then Tambomachay, the sacred fountains of life, and a panoramic view of Puca Pucara, the city’s historic watchtower.
In Cusco, visit Korikancha, the Temple of the Sun, built atop by the Saint Dominique Convent, and end at the Main Square with a tour of the Cusco Cathedral, home to priceless colonial art. At the end of the visit, return to your hotel.
Important Note: Visitors are not permitted to enter religious sites wearing shorts. Photography is not allowed inside the Cathedral.
Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure in Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire. Take this time to rest or explore the city’s vibrant center, known for its rich culture, delicious cuisine, and fascinating history. Wander through cobblestone streets, visit local markets, or simply soak in the charm of this highland city as you prepare for your next adventure.
After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby for Chinchero, Yucay Living Museum, and Ollantaytambo Fortress with Lunch, a guided exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Begin in Chinchero, a traditional Inca village on a scenic plateau, where you’ll see archaeological remains, a 17th-century church, and local artisans preserving Inca traditions.
Continue to Ollantaytambo, an authentic Inca town, and visit its iconic fortress. Enjoy an Andean lunch at a local restaurant, then explore the Living Museum of Yucay and Andean Interpretation Center, observing traditional textile, pottery, and silverwork, along with llamas, alpacas, and sheep.
After your Sacred Valley exploration, you will be transferred to your selected hotel in the Sacred Valley for an overnight stay, with breakfast included.
Your Choice of Accommodations:
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. Along the way, pass notable landmarks in the Sacred Valley, including the hanging bridge marking the start of the Inca Trail. The railway follows the Urubamba River (Vilcanota River), descending through a canyon to Aguas Calientes, the town at the base of Machu Picchu.
Upon arrival, board a minibus up the winding road to Machu Picchu for your Machu Picchu Guided Visit, exploring the Sacred Citadel of the Incas and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Then, board the train for a scenic one and a half hour journey back to Ollanta Train Station. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.

At the designated time, please proceed to the lobby of the hotel and meet your driver for a private transfer to Cusco Airport to check in for your flight to Lima, where you will connect with your onward flight.
