Enter Machu Picchu through the iconic Intipunku, or Sun Gate, and the following morning, beat the crowds by being first in line to explore the Machu Picchu Citadel. In Lima
Upon arrival in Lima and after completing the standard immigration, luggage retrieval, and customs procedures, please proceed to the exit of the international terminal. Your driver will be waiting for you showing a sign with your name(s) and provide you with a private transfer and check-in at the Holiday Inn Lima Airport by IHG Hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay with breakfast included.
At the designated time, please proceed to the lobby of the hotel and meet your driver for a private transfer to Lima Airport for your domestic flight to Cusco (airfare not included).
Upon arrival in Cusco, meet your driver for a private transfer to the Sacred Valley with sightseeing en route, including a stop for lunch and an equestrian show at Wayra Ranch.
Begin with a visit to Casa Sulca to learn about Andean textile traditions and the communities behind them. Then at Wayra Ranch, enjoy a gourmet lunch inspired by the Sacred Valley’s abundance, prepared under Chefs Pedro Miguel Schiaffino and Nacho Solis, accompanied by a Peruvian Paso Fino horse demonstration and marinera music. After lunch, continue to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
Your Choice of Accommodations:
In the afternoon, head to Maras for a safety briefing before an exhilarating ATV ride through the Sacred Valley on the ATV Adventure in Moray and Maras. Explore two iconic sites: the circular agricultural terraces of Moray and the striking salt ponds of the Salineras of Maras, still harvested by hand.
Enjoy panoramic views, dirt-kicking fun, and close encounters with these fascinating landmarks. After the ride, relax with a transfer back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
Important Note: the horse show has a fixed schedule at 1:30 PM.
Breakfast at the hotel, then head to Pachar in the Sacred Valley for a wet and wild adventure on the Urubamba River Rafting. Receive your equipment and safety briefing, practice on calm waters, and begin your journey along easy stretches while enjoying mountain views and Inca terraces. Tackle Class III rapids and finish at the Slide (el Resbaladero) with waves and small whirlpools. The ride ends at Cachiccata (toilets and changing rooms available), just 10 minutes from Ollantaytambo, before a transfer back to your hotel in Urubamba.
Today, enjoy one of the Sacred Valley’s most delightful experiences with a ride on the renowned Peruvian Paso horses during the Horseback Riding Exploration of the Sacred Valley, known for their smooth and comfortable gait developed over centuries in the Andes.
Your adventure begins with a transfer to the community of Cruzpata, where you will meet your horse and ride through beautiful landscapes of farmland and snowcapped mountains toward the archaeological site of Moray. Here, learn how the Incas used the circular terraces for agricultural experiments, creating microclimates with temperature differences of up to 15°C.
Continue riding to the picturesque village of Maras to visit its historic church, then travel on to the famous Maras salt ponds before returning to your hotel.
At the designated time, proceed to the hotel lobby to meet your driver for a transfer to Ollanta Train Station to board the train heading to Km. 104 of the railroad, the starting point of the Inca Trail Short Trek. Begin your trek at the trailhead, spotting endemic birds and wild orchids. Hike past Chachabamba (7,862 ft) through cacti and cloud forest to Wiñay Wayna for a boxed lunch. Continue to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) for stunning views of Machu Picchu.
After the hike, take the bus down to Aguas Calientes and check in at your selected hotel for an overnight stay.

Important Note: Due to limited capacity on the Inca Trail and at Machu Picchu, we strongly recommend booking your reservation as early as possible to ensure ticket availability.
Your journey to the legendary Machu Picchu begins in Aguas Calientes, where you will board a mini bus for a 25 minute ride up to the citadel for your Machu Picchu Guided Visit. This extraordinary archaeological site, believed to have served as a royal sanctuary and retreat for the Inca emperor Pachacutec, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Meaning “Old Mountain,” it captivates visitors with its remarkable history and breathtaking natural setting.
After the visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant. At the designated time, proceed to the Aguas Calientes Train Station to board the train to Ollanta Train Station, then continue with your driver to your hotel in the Sacred Valley for an overnight stay with breakfast.
Your Choice of Accommodations:
At the designated time, meet your guide for your transfer to Cusco with a guided visit to Pisac and the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park en-route. Explore Inca culture at Sacsayhuaman, admiring its massive stones and serene mountain setting. Continue to Q’enqo, the Temple of the Puma with its carved sacrificial altar, then Tambomachay, the sacred fountains, and finish with a panoramic view of Puca Pucara, the ancient watchtower guarding Cusco.
At the end of your visit, check in at your selected hotel for an overnight stay with breakfast. The rest of the day is free to explore Cusco at your leisure.

At the designated time, please proceed to the lobby of the hotel and meet your driver for a private transfer to Cusco Airport to check in for your flight to Lima, where you will connect with your onward flight.
